We’re seeking a fellowship-trained, Board Certified or Board Eligible Pediatric Otolaryngologist for an exceptional new opening to join the growing surgical team at Texas Children’s Hospital at their campus at The Woodlands.
Texas Children’s The Woodlands opened their outpatient clinic and ICU in the fall of 2016 in this desirable, growing area of the Houston metroplex and is the second community pediatric hospital in the Texas Children’s system. Inpatient services at Texas Children’s The Woodlands opened in April 2017 with 62 inpatient beds, including 14 PICU, 14 NICU, 34 acute care beds and 4 operating rooms with shelled space for 4-5 additional OR’s. Ranked 3rd (tied) in the nation of Best Children’s Hospitals by U.S. News & World Report in 2019-20 out of nearly 200 pediatric institutions, Texas Children’s has top 10 rankings in all 10 recognized specialties.
The hospital’s outstanding reputation for treatment advances has contributed to its current No. 1 ranking in Texas. In fact, over the last decade, no other pediatric hospital in the state has ever achieved an overall ranking as high as Texas Children’s. At Texas Children’s, Pediatric Otolaryngology is the largest program in the Department of Surgery.
All faculty members have faculty appointments in the Department of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery at Baylor College of Medicine. The Otolaryngology Division provides diagnoses and treatment for children from birth to 17 years of age with multiple locations throughout the Houston area. In this position, you will join the expanding team at The Woodlands and enjoy call of 1:5.
